Less About Me; More About We
By Daniel C. Bruch D.Min., Ph.D., Sc.D.
About the book
This book is an answer to those who claim that liberalism is immoral and has a value base that is responsible for much that is wrong with our country. It seeks to provide a careful and rational response, in a specifically Judeo-Christian context, to some of the most divisive current issues: war, patriotism, the role of women, abortion, homosexuality, poverty, and a sustainable environment.
Using gentle and confident scholarship and reason, presented in a readable and understandable format, the authors seek to restore and energize a more informed Christian faith. It is designed to be read by everyone who is concerned about or alarmed by the political encroachments of the political and religious right. It is for liberals who are Christians and liberals who are not. It is for secularist and moderates who are concerned about religious freedom and the separation of church and state. It is for conservatives who may not agree with their arguments in the end, but who will understand the context and language in which they are made.
